Program Objective

The Dental Institute will prepare students to develop the necessary skills to enter the job market as a valuable asset to a dental team and the community.  Instruction will be given through classroom/virtual theory, laboratory/clinical procedures, and clinical externships.  Classes include: CPR, infection control, OSHA, dental radiology, dental office emergencies, oral anatomy, computer skills and dental charting, chairside assisting, instrument identification, dental materials (temporary crown, root canal therapy, restorations, removal partial dentures, implants, bleaching trays), SC laws, and resume building.
